An officer spotted the vehicle — driven by Bradford Lyvers, 41 — at Schenkel Lane and Landings Drive. After initially disregarding the police unit’s lights, according to Frankfort police, Lyvers stopped the vehicle at Schenkel Lane and East Main Street.

SHERIDAN — James E. Lyvers, 87, of Sheridan, passed away Saturday, June 6, at Aperion Care in Amboy. He was born Jan. 16, 1928, in Wataga, Ill., the son of George and Mary (Clark) Lyvers. He married Marion L. Clavey on April 28, 1950, in Waukegan.
